Connecting people to the church is important. It's one of our reasons for existing and it's part of the discipleship of every believer. That's why there is so much more to NBC than the Sunday morning worship service. Sunday School, Adult Bible Fellowships, Growth Groups, Youth Group, Children's Clubs and Service Opportunities give us a chance to connect with the church and with each other. Our goal is to have a place for everyone. We hope you find that's true.

To get involved, check out our Kids Ministry page here. >>

Our children's ministry provides opportunities for children to learn about God through Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities, special events, summer programs, and children's choir. We offer safe and comfortable childcare for infants and toddlers during our Sunday and Wednesday services, so you can know that your child is in great hands while you worship God and learn from His Word.

Children's Church

During the Morning Worship Service, children in Kindergarten and younger start in their respective classrooms (Nursery, 2s & 3s, Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten). Children in Grades 1-3 start in the Auditorium with their parents and will be dismissed part way through to their Children’s Church time.

Sunday School

Sunday School is offered for all ages at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School is an important part of the children's discipleship because it focuses on long-term, comprehensive Bible Study from all parts of Scripture. The children will become familiar with all the major stories, characters, and events of the Bible with lessons that are fun and applicable.

Olympians and Gopher Buddies

Our children's club ministries meet on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Olympians for elementary age children (grades 1-6), and Gopher Buddies for early learners (age 4-Kindergarten). These Word of Life clubs encourage the children in many areas of Christian growth like: daily devotions, Christian service, Bible study with the group, Christian reading, and church attendance. The meetings usually include: opening and closing, Bible Lesson, small group time, and game time. Club "members" are encouraged to work toward different achievement levels, but children can join in any time and still learn and have fun.

Sunday School, Youth Group, service projects, missions trips, socials. The teens are never without ways to be involved. It's fun but it's not just for fun; our youth ministries are designed to make disciples. Our desire is to see young people come to Christ, be equipped in their faith and to serve God full time whether on the mission field or their local church.

Sunday School

Junior High and Senior High meet together on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. but then split for separate lessons designed for each group's training in God's Word.

Youth Group meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for games, worship, and Bible lessons. Every element is there to help meet the needs of today's young people.

Our Adult Ministries aim to provide direction for every step of the discipleship pathway. We come together for worship; we connect with each other in Adult Bible Fellowships; we use growth groups for life-change and service opportunities abound.

Adult Bible Fellowships

ABFs meet on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. for fellowship and Bible Lessons. These medium-sized groups are excellent for finding a place to belong.

Growth Groups

Growth Groups are small groups that meet for a specific duration for accountability and targeted spiritual growth. They are scheduled throughout the week. Many are scheduled on Wednesday nights.
