December 14

Christmas in the Valley

Join us at Northfield Baptist Church on December 14 from 4–6 p.m

for an evening that brings our whole community together --

  • Horse-drawn rides
  • Live animals
  • Crafts for kids
  • Good food
  • The joy of lighting a Christmas tree as a community

It’s free, family-friendly, and

open to everyone --

a night to slow down,

enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas, and celebrate the season

with family and friends.

More Christmas Activities

  • Operation Christmas Child

We are excited to again have the opportunity to collect shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Your shoebox will be an expression of God's love to a child and may be the only gift he or she receives. You will also be offering the Greatest Gift and each shoebox includes a book sharing the Gospel. Grab your shoebox and packing instructions from the table in the foyer. Shoeboxes are due back November 23!

You can also pack a shoebox online here!

  • Kids Christmas Choir Program

    December 21 Morning Worship at 10 a.m.

Our Kids Christmas Choir will present "Behind the Manger Scenes"! You will be given a tour of the Christmas story "behind the scenes" as two siblings experience fascinating and unexpected events leading them to discover the truth about Jesus’ birth. Although they try to stay out of the spotlight, they eventually realize that everyone plays an important role in the story of Christmas.

  • The Longest Night

    Evening of Remembrance

    December 21 at 7 p.m.

This special evening is designed to allow time and a place to remember loved ones during the Christmas season. “The Longest Night” is held on the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, representing the long journey of grief.

  • Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service

    December 24, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Join us for this special candlelight service as we sing Christmas carols, enjoy the children gathering to hear a Christmas story, and share together in the celebration of Communion.
