Explore Adult Bible Fellowships in the
month of September
Each ABF has something special to offer, but all the ABFs at Northfield Baptist Church provide a network of care, fellowship and time for study in God's Word.
Maybe you are currently settled in an ABF, looking for a different type of ABF, or have not connected at all. Take time to visit different ABFs through the month of September and find the one that is right for you!
Take a look at the descriptions below!
Who: Engaged to longtime married couples
Where: Ministry Center Youth Room
Purpose: This ABF has its focus on Marriage Topics alternating with Bible book studies to help couples navigate the challenges of married life.
Schedule: Sundays following the worship service
Leaders: Gary & Jan Hoffman, Tony & Kristen Fearon
Who: Couples with young children
Where: Room 240 (Through the gym)
Purpose: Couples walking through the parenting journey - from newborns through college-age - growing together and seeking God's wisdom for families.
Schedule: Sundays following the worship service

Who: Mixed Ages
Where: Room 203
Purpose: The ABF is made for individuals who are ready to walk through Bible passages and topics with much discussion, while giving attention to personal encouragement.

Who: 30’s to 90’s, singles and married
Where: Room 200 (Cafeteria)
Purpose: A caring community of believers passionate about growing together through interactive, Biblical teaching designed to be a catalyst to build up and live out our faith.

Who: Adults - Mixed Ages
Where: Ministry Center Front Room
Purpose: This is a family of individuals, caring and praying for each other while encouraging and growing in God's Word.

Who: 60’s & up, singles and married
Where: Ministry Center Middle Room
Purpose: This is a class of (mostly) senior saints, who primarily study books of the Bible. Class members have the option to participate remotely via Zoom.

Who: Ladies
Where: Room 204
Purpose: Being enriched in the Word, this group of women grow through study, share burdens and praises, and encourage each other to reach out to others.

Purpose: A group of diverse ages, spiritual, and marital status who focus on healthy community and active discussion, leading to a deeper relationship with God and attention to His Spirit.

Purpose: A group of post high school singles that meet to discuss various topics and study the Bible.

Grief share
Classes take place each Tuesday
6-8 pm in the Ministry Center
It is not too late to join GriefShare, a grief recovery support group offering a safe welcoming place as you walk through the grieving process. With 13 sessions offered, you can share your experiences in a safe atmosphere, find answers to your questions, and receive helpful guidance as you find healing.

Covered Walkway & Playground Improvements
Phase 1 - Project 1
Take a look at the playground! So much work has taken place and more plans are in the works. We are so thankful to all who have been investing time to make our church playground a fun and safe place for our children!
Thank you for your faithful giving. As the borrowed funds are repaid for Project 1, we will hear the proposal to fund Project 2 - the Storage Building.
