Ways to Support NBC Missionaries and Ministries
Below, all of the missionaries and ministries are listed that Northfield Baptist Church supports. Here are some ideas of how you as a church member can support them.
- Be aware of their needs, prayer requests and praises provided through the prayer letters.
- Pray for our missionaries and ministries regularly.
- Send them special offerings through funds collected in the ABF groups. Requests can be sent to the Treasurer through the church office.
- Send them notes or cards of encouragement.
- Spend time with missionary families when they are in our area on furlough.
Pray for Our Missionaries
Included here is a prayer list of praises and requests for our current missionaries.
Nate and Maam Beckman in Thailand
- Praise the Lord for His protection over the Beckman’s and all of their church people as they experienced their first earthquake at the beginning of April!
- Pray for the Beckman’s and their church family as their desire to elect the first Thai pastor for Pinklao Baptist Church has been put on hold. Pray for them in their disappointment, however they are thankful for God’s gracious hand of protection on them and their people, keeping the church from potential harm. Pray as they continue to work and wait on God.
- Pray as they work with a man named Ben, who has asked for help in becoming a better teacher of God’s Word in preparation to plant a church in his area of Bangkok. With opportunities to teach and preach at Pinklao, their hope is to ordain Ben and commission him to plant a church!
- Pray as many men are now attending a Systematic Theology Bible study held in preparation for Ben’s ordination that this study would further prepare these men for ministry.

- Praise the Lord for the privilege Dave has to be a part of the Baptist Mid-Missions Strategic Planning Committee as well as continuing his responsibilities as administrator for Bibles International.
